Rick Bird

Rick Bird is the CEO of Thin Air Labs and a General Partner at Thin Air Labs Fund I where they are igniting venture growth for greater human impact. Rick is a multi-time startup operator with more than 15 years of experience developing tech organizations from early stage through to exit. Rick has been a part of two Canadian exits where he built and scaled operations, customer success, sales, and risk management teams. Rick has also been an advisor to multiple early stage companies, helping to raise capital, develop product market fit, business models, metrics and leadership teams. Rick is passionate about sharing his experience and expertise with the Calgary innovation ecosystem.
