About this speaker
Vishal is a Data Scientist at Cybera. He develops Machine Learning and predictive forecasting solutions to model the Alberta labour market using job postings data. His everyday work at Cybera involves closely working with full-stack developers which made him specialize in building and deploying various end-to-end machine learning / data science prototypes including analytical dashboards on a remote cloud server. He has mentored data science projects helping SMEs in AB with tools to better leverage the data. He has a MS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Alberta. If he’s not at his desk, you will find him playing squash or jogging along Edmonton’s scenic river valley.
